Application Framework:Define the Cupid’s bow and lip corners → lightly sketch in short, segmented strokes → softly blend the edges → build in thin layers for longer wear → follow a “dissolve first, then cleanse” makeup-removal routine for lip care
30 Seconds Before Application: Prep for More Defined, Stable Edges
Start by marking 4 points: the Cupid’s bow, the center of the lower lip, and both lip corners.
Position the lip shape first, then connect the lines for greater control. This approach is especially beginner-friendly and helps reduce common issues such as overextended lip corners and an asymmetrical Cupid’s bow.
Lightly sketch in short, segmented strokes: avoid drawing one continuous line.
Softly blend the edges: turn the “line” into a “shadow.”
Use a lip brush, cotton swab, or clean fingertip to gently blend the line 1–2 mm inward. This creates a more natural look and helps prevent a smudged appearance caused by harsh edges.
Build in thin layers for longer wear: small amounts applied gradually last longer.
Waterproof, long-wearing products are better suited toApply a thin layer → set → layer againthis application method. For a fuller lip look, lightly fill the inner edge of the lips with lip liner first, then layer lipstick or lip gloss.
